Toyota’s bringing the Land Cruiser back to the United States after the nameplate’s brief hiatus at the end of 2021.

The 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser rides on the TNGA-F platform, which is shared with the Toyota Tacoma, Sequoia, and Tundra, as well as the Lexus GX.

Land Cruiser fans rejoice! The legendary Toyota nameplateis getting closer to hitting the public roads and finally has a price. According to Toyota, the ’24 Land Cruiser will start at $57,345, or $55,950 plus the $1395 destination charge. For those keeping score, that’s nearly $30,000 less than theprevious US-market Land Cruiser.

While the previous generation of Land Cruisers that hit American shores sported a V8 under the hood, that’s not the case for its North American successor. The upcoming,2024 Land Cruiserfeatures a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder that works with a hybrid system to make 326 hp and 465 lb-ft of torque. That’s a step down on peak horsepower from the previous Land Cruiser’s 5.7-liter V8, but a 64 lb-ft bump in torque.

It’s worth noting this base model will carry the 1958 badge as its trim level, which is a nod to the Land Cruiser’s first model year. From there the price goes up with Land Cruiser badged models, and the top-tier First Edition-badged models.

Land Cruiser-badged models start at $63,345. The jump in price gets you rectangular LED headlamps, heated power front seats, and a 12.3-inch touchscreen for the media system, among other perks. For the off-roading crowd, this also includes stabilizer bar disconnects, the multi-terrain monitor system, and color-selectable LED fog lamps.

At the top of the price chart is the First Edition model, with just about any option Toyota offers for the Land Cruiser.

That means it comes with all the basic hardware found on the Land Cruiser trim variants, but adds the round LED headlamps and the Premium Package, which includes leather-trimmed, heated, and ventilated seats, a 14-speaker audio system, and a digital rearview mirror. It also comes with a center console cooler box, a power moon roof, and unique 18-inch wheels.

Toyota says this new Land Cruiser is expected to hit the streets this spring.
